What we collect
Waitlist. Your email address, so we can tell you when spawns go live near you. Nothing else is attached to it.
Account. If you sign in, we store the identifier your provider (X or Google) gives us, the handle you choose, the avatar you pick, and the public wallet address you associate. We never see, ask for, or store a private key or seed phrase.
Location. The map asks for your position only when you press Near me. The coordinates are used in your browser to rank spawns and draw the capture ring. They are not sent to our servers and are not stored.
Captures. When a capture is validated, we record which spawn was claimed, when, and by which account. That record is what settles the payout and what shows up in the live feed under your handle.
Audience measurement
We count page views with Vercel Analytics. It sets no cookie and keeps no identifier: we learn that a page was seen and roughly where from, never who saw it.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data. We do not run advertising trackers. We do not build a history of where you go — the anti-spoof checks run at the moment of capture and keep only a pass or fail.
Who else sees it
Authentication and storage run on Supabase. Hosting runs on Vercel. Map tiles are served by OpenFreeMap. Each of these receives the minimum needed to do its job, under its own privacy terms.
How long we keep it
Waitlist addresses until launch plus ninety days, or until you ask. Account data for as long as the account exists. Capture records for as long as the payout they settle can be disputed.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@brainrots.party. We answer within thirty days.
Cookies
One session cookie, set only after you sign in, so we know it is you. No third-party cookies.
